The Opportunity
We are seeking a Reservations & Guest Service Agent to become the cornerstone of our guest experience team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, managing the entire reservations process—from inquiry to check-out—and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, luxury holiday. You will work closely with our passionate team to uphold our renowned service standards and contribute to the growth of our business.
What You’ll Do
* Local resident with full Australian working rights.
* Oversee the full reservations process, from initial inquiry to guest departure, ensuring an outstanding experience at every step.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, responding swiftly and professionally to guest inquiries.
* Optimise occupancy and revenue by monitoring trends and applying effective yield management strategies.
* Collaborate with property managers, guests, and the wider Niche Holidays Noosa team to coordinate bookings and special guest requests.
* Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest information using cutting-edge reservation platforms.
* Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings with confidence, maximising sales and driving repeat business.
* Monitor and adjust tariffs to achieve optimal revenue targets.
* Handle guest feedback with care, resolving issues promptly to maintain our reputation for excellence.
* Identify trends and opportunities to enhance guest experiences and support our marketing efforts.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in reservations, customer service, or sales within travel, tourism, or hospitality.
* Strong ability to build rapport, convert inquiries, and secure repeat guests.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
* Experience in trust accounting and financial acumen.
* Confident in using reservation software (experience with Outlook, Resly, Pricelabs, Airbnb, STAYZ, Booking.com is an advantage).
* A proactive, positive attitude with a passion for problem-solving.
* Team-oriented mindset, ready to pitch in where needed.
* Knowledge of the Noosa area and local attractions is a plus.
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends. You will be required to work a minimum of 1 weekend day.
