Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the team to deliver MEP services for the life of the project from feasibility cost planning to agreement of final account.
* Manage and develop our team to deliver our MEP services.
* Lead MEP bid opportunities.
* Working with the Queensland Director to continue to grow our MEP cost management opportunities.
* Assisting on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
* Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan to internal & external clients.
* Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes.
Requirements
* Must be in Australia with full working rights.
* A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Engineering desired.
* MRICS / AIQS accreditation or equivalent ideal.
* Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment.
* Great understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing.
* Experience in the cost management sector.
* Proficient in the use of Cost X.
* Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
* Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
* Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently.
* Understanding of / or interest in alternative technologies and ecologically sustainable design.
