We work with private owners, local and State government bodies, religious organisations, developers, and other architects. Some of our recent clients have included Hunter Valley councils, National Parks & Wildlife Service, Honeysuckle and Central Coast Development Corporation, University of Newcastle, Transport for NSW, and Sydney Metro. We are based in Newcastle and work primarily within the Hunter Valley but our work extends to Wollongong in the south, Broken Hill in the west and Inverell in the north. We are dedicated to conserving, integrating and interpreting heritage into the modern landscape. Our team is looking for a motivated Junior Architecture Graduate / Heritage Consultant with ArchiCAD experience to join us (initially) on a part-time basis.Your Key Contributions:Assist in heritage assessments and site surveys for historic buildings and structures.Contribute to the preparation of conservation management plans and heritage impact assessments.Work closely with senior consultants to develop architectural designs and solutions for the conservation and adaptive re-use of heritage properties.Utilise ArchiCAD software to create detailed architectural drawings and models of heritage sites.Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with heritage conservation standards and legislation.Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.Support project teams with research and analysis related to historical architecture and conservation.Your Skills and Qualifications:Degree or ongoing studies in Architecture and/or Heritage Conservation.An understanding of heritage conservation principles and practices in NSW.Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Experience in ArchiCAD for architectural design and drafting.Skilled in Apple iWork and Adobe software.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on meaningful projects that help conserve the cultural heritage of our built environment.Collaborative and supportive team environment.Professional development and growth opportunities in the field of heritage conservation.How to Apply:If you're passionate about architecture and heritage conservation, we would love to hear from you!
