About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Manager or Registered Nurse to take on a dynamic leadership role in our residential aged care home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
You will work collaboratively with our established team to deliver safe, competent, and contemporary clinical care to our residents. Your high-level clinical skills and knowledge as an experienced Registered Nurse will enable you to achieve best practice clinical standards while providing strong leadership in a resident-focused care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning, assigning, and overseeing duties to ensure that care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Providing supervision and support to registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and personal carers to ensure a resident-centric approach and high level of customer service.
* Efficiently managing human, material, and financial resources to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Requirements:
* A minimum Bachelor Degree in Nursing (RN) for all aged care facilities.
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Minimum 3 years experience in residential aged care.
* Working knowledge of the requirements of the Quality Agency Standards, Specified Care and Service Principles of the Aged Care Act, Documentation Standards, Residents Rights, Aged Care Funding Instrument, and other relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practices.
* Sound clinical knowledge and skills in accordance with contemporary practice.
* Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
