Aboutthe position
1. The Civil Construction Trainees will work with a civil construction and/or maintenance team while developing skills and abilities to complement studies, which can lead to fulfilling career prospects in the various civil construction settings include, but not limited to, Labourer, Asphalt Worker, Civil Construction worker, and construction hand. This position will work under direct supervision. This Traineeship is an entry-level training program for people seeking employment in the Local Government industry.
2. These two positions are temporary full-time position for 12 months based at either Goombungee and Crows Nest.
3. Training wage rates are $293 - $761 per week (depending on your education and years out of school) plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation."
4. These positions participate in a nine (9) day fortnight working arrangement.

6. Hold the mandatory qualification(s), training and/or experience, specific to the position: Completion of Year 10 education is mandatory, with completion of Year 12 education being desirable. Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence is highly desirable. WHS Competency (White Card) for CPVVWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement. A genuine interest in the civil construction or maintenance industry.
