Staff Specialist (General Surgery) (600481)Australia, TasThe Department of Health is seeking interest from suitably qualified General Surgeons with sub-specialty experience in Upper Gastrointestinal, Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary, and/or Bariatric Surgery for a Staff Specialist (General Surgery) vacancy.This role has been established to improve the delivery of UGI, HPB, and Bariatric surgical services. The clinical work in this role will involve outpatient and elective services in the relevant specialty and sub-specialty fields, as well as acute/emergency cases as part of the Department of General Surgery’s Emergency Surgical Unit (ESU). The successful candidate would also be involved in training of registrars, junior medical officers, and students.
