The Club features 62 gaming machines, employs 50 dedicated staff, serves 5,500 members, and has an excellent reputation in the area for its contracted food outlets. Situated only a short drive from the Coffs Harbour coast and halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, Armidale is the perfect location for those seeking a balance between city living and beautiful regional landscapes. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing all operational areas, including Food & Beverage, Entertainment, Promotions, Gaming, IT, Maintenance, and Security Assisting with the planning and execution of business goals and objectives Managing the club's operations within budget guidelines and achieving revenue growth targets Driving service excellence, maintaining cost efficiencies, and delivering profit performance targets Reporting on operational results to the CEO and the Board of Directors Acting as CEO in the absence of the CEO Ensuring legislative compliance across all operational areas Leading, coaching, training, and mentoring teams to ensure high performance across departments Assisting in developing and implementing club policies and procedures Playing a key role in the operational side of events and functions of all sizes Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: RSA and ARCG certifications, along with a current police check Experience in hospitality/business management Strong knowledge of beverage and gaming operations, with a focus on beverage stock control Proven ability to implement, measure and monitor marketing and promotional initiatives Experience in human resources, including performance management, recruitment, and structured training Strong financial acumen, with experience delivering results to budget, particularly in labour and cost control Excellent customer service and leadership skills, with good interpersonal and communication abilities Knowledge of Club operations, relevant legislation (Fair Work Act 2009, WHS Act 2011, Licensing laws etc), and risk management principles Experience using Senpos POS for inventory control Exposure to customer loyalty programs Familiarity with Deputy rostering program Familiarity with the IGT Club Advantage Gaming system would be preferred but not essential Formal qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential What We Offer: Assistance with relocation 5 weeks of annual leave Complimentary meal per shift Free onsite parking Opportunities for ongoing professional learning The opportunity to live and work in one of the most beautiful and vibrant regions of NSW If you're ready to take your hospitality career to the next level and join a club that's committed to excellence and innovation, we'd love to hear from you!
