ACCIONA Energía is seeking a High Voltage Engineer to support the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of HV infrastructure across our growing portfolio of renewable energy assets (5 operational sites and two projects in the latter stages).Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Senior HV Engineer to oversee HV activities, ensuring the reliability of substations, transformers, lines, protection systems and other HV/MV assets.Support commissioning and integration of new assets, assisting in maintenance procedure development and technical documentation.Oversee preventive maintenance strategies, troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct failure analysis, and root cause identification.Assist in managing spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure long-term asset reliability.Required Skills and CompetenciesBachelor's degree in electrical engineering.Experience with High Voltage assets (such as substation, transformer, circuit breaker and protection relay etc) in a maintenance environment.Proactive, problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.A valid Australian driver's license with flexibility to travel as required.
