They are highly regarded and respected and are seeking to employ an experienced General Manager to be hands-on and coach, lead, and mentor their residential and commercial trade sales teams across WA.The RoleYour new role will be based from their Perth Showroom and will see you leading, driving, coaching, and mentoring a team of retail, styling, and commercial sales staff.
Your role will be a strategic hands-on leadership position, and your main focus will be to oversee and drive the success of the teams via their client base of retail customers, residential A&D, commercial A&D, builders, developers, and end users.
You will be responsible for ensuring the sales team hits budgets and targets while always looking at areas for improvement and increased revenue opportunities.
Working closely with the sales teams, you will assist and develop the team in various areas and maintain a consistent high level of customer service and customer satisfaction.
This position is part of the leadership team, and you will be required to report back to the directors in terms of performance and areas for improvement.
Skills RequiredWe are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the following skills:Previous successful experience in a sales management role within the high-end retail furniture, commercial furniture, or decorative interiors industry in WA.Strong leadership experience and skills and the ability to motivate a team and create a culture of success.Passion for training, coaching, and developing staff.Previous experience of selling premium brands associated with furniture and interiors.Some A&D sales exposure and understanding of the sales/specification process.Willingness to be the face of the business in WA and be hands-on in driving sales.Solid commercial acumen with strong reporting skills.The starting salary package is NEG based on your experience - circa $120-150K + Super + Bonus linked to your team's performance.
