What we are looking for:
Do you have an eye for detail and the ability to multitask with a high level of accuracy in a Civil Construction and Infrastructure environment? We have a challenging role for a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of Capital Works within the Fraser Coast.
What your day will look like:
* Preparation of tender and contract documentation for allocated projects in the Capital Works Program.
* Contribute to the development of contract management practices and procedures for service delivery.
* Assist in the development of long and short-term plans, policies and procedures.
* Provide feedback and project data on completed works, ensuring “as constructed” data is provided to the project owner.
* Identify and resolve implementation problems with designs prior to contracting of works.
* Develop 5 year sealed road resurfacing programs based on asset management data and operational requirements.
* Provide information on project performance in a suitable format for distribution to staff, Councillors and external customers.
* Preparation of reports and presentations to Council.
What you’ll need for success:
* Ability to effectively work in a team environment for the delivery of contract managed capital works projects.
* Experience in design, construction and asset management.
* Demonstrated high level of experience in preparing tender documentation, including technical specifications, general conditions of contract and drawings.
* Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to relate at the appropriate level to staff, contractors and community representatives.
* Experience and a high level understanding of project management (from a legal, civil, probity and operational perspective).
* High level of experience in managing contracts using relevant Australian Standards General Conditions of Contract.
Licences:
* Relevant Driver's Licence
* White Card
