ICT Operations Manager

Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,800 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are seeking to appoint an ICT Operations Manager to join our Information Communication Technology team.
The successful delivery of ICT is of high priority at Chairo and the ICT Operations Manager will be expected to provide excellent customer service to both staff members and students while managing the day-to-day operations of the ICT Services team.
Some key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the ICT Services team to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective support services
2. Managing the ICT Services team ticket system
3. Assisting the Head of ICT with the delivery of professional development to staff members
4. Acting as the senior escalation point for technical and process-related issues
5. Coordinating the procurement of assets, systems and services
The successful candidate will have the following:
1. Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
2. Ability to work as part of a team
3. Experience in an ICT support, engineering or system administration role
4. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to relate to students and staff members in a caring, friendly and helpful manner
6. Willingness to work out of regular hours on an occasional basis
