Job Title: General Practitioner - Maryborough Practice Information: Monsour Medical Clinic is situated in Maryborough. It has approximately 15,500 active patients at the clinic. The clinic offers a variety of services for the community including Men’s and Women’s health initiatives, sexual health checks, mental health services and on-site pathology collection. Dr Monsour, the principal GP is also a registered acupuncturist and Coal Board Medical Officer. Patients can generally make an appointment on the same day if required, and we also accept walk-in appointments if the doctors have time in their schedule. Our clinic employs two FTE practice nurses to assist with clinic work. After Hours Requirements: The clinic is open Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings, and the doctors are also required to take part in the clinic on call roster. This would schedule the doctors on approximately 1 in 6 weekends and weeknights. The doctors’ work hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (lunch from 12 to 1pm) and 8am to 11am Saturday morning. The clinic also provides services to patients in the local nursing homes, and there are times that the doctors are required to visit the nursing homes, as well as home visits to patients unable to attend the clinic. These visits will be arranged to suit the doctor’s personal requirements. Qualifications and Experience: The successful applicant must be eligible for AHPRA registration Remuneration: You will be employed as a contractor on a salary of $150,000 per annum and 60% of gross billings after 12 months, whichever is the greater.
