The Asia Pacific Division has an opening for a Marketing Specialist/Sales Business Development Specialist based in our Sydney or Melbourne office
Reporting to the Manager Strategy & Enablement, the incumbent will help facilitate and accelerate sales growth; and infuse state-of-the-art analytics into our sales strategies.
Responsibilities
The job will involve:
1. Working closely with the Business Development Executives (BDEs) to mine and package knowledge, resources and materials for critical moments through-out the sales cycle;
2. Collaborating with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Staff Marketing to help design and then execute innovative lead nurturing campaigns at various stages in the sales funnel;
3. Administering information in Client Relationship Management (CRM) system in collaboration with the Business Development Assistants (BDAs);
4. Exploit social networking among other critical field tools for the BDEs;
5. Customizing research for BDEs on prospects, clients, industries and strategic buyers;
6. Gathering, organizing, and supplying BDEs with competitive market and internal intelligence;
7. Executing direct marketing campaigns;
8. Maintaining a working knowledge of the assigned geographic territory and industries, identify new prospects in the territory;
9. Traveling of approximately 20%
Qualifications
Qualifications, skills and experience
10. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing / market research;
11. At least 5 years’ experience in business or equivalent;
12. Research, analytical and market knowledge skills;
13. Excellent written and communication skills in English;
14. Knowledge of another Asian language. Mandarin, Malay or Korean, would be a significant advantage
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
16. Web mining / familiarity with business services and social networking tools;
17. Skills using Adobe InDesign and other design platforms
18. Strong planning and organizing skills;
19. Strong interpersonal skills.
Nice to have:
20. CRM system experience,. Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus
21. Proficiency with high tech sales tools (. desktop publishing or ability to develop and implement email marketing campaigns) desired but not required.
