They are now seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their collaborative and social finance team on an initial contract basis.About The RoleYour responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare and deliver reporting to the business, including clear interpretation of actual results, communication of drivers and implications for future financial performance. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and accounting treatment of costs. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present financial reports to the business, including interpretation of actual results, communication of drivers and implications for future financial performance. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards. Deliver strong financial controls and record financial results in-line with the group's accounting policies and IFRS. Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Work collaboratively across Finance teams to continuously improve the speed and automation of financial data capture, reconciliation, reporting, analysis and insight generation Supervise, guide and mentor junior team members The CandidateThis dynamic environment requires a strong technical accounting understanding (CA/CPA qualified), ideally gained within an ASX-listed business or from a chartered firm.
