Be challenged and imagine with us We are seeking to appoint an education-focused Lecturer in Computing and Information Technology (CIT) to contribute to the School. The successful candidate will engage in high-quality teaching and learning focused research, continuously improving the CIT curriculum and developing recognition for their expertise in this domain.
How will you inspire us The successful candidates will have:
Completed a doctoral or masters qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT or a related area in Software Engineering (Agile).Evidence of high teaching quality, effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.Demonstrated record of staying up-to-date with discipline knowledge and professional development.Publications or non-traditional research outputs in high-quality outlets.Evidence of high quality course content creation, including teaching and learning-focused research.Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.Ability to efficiently perform in allocated internal roles and contribute to outcomes of internal committees.Skills in active supervision of honours, masters and/or Higher Degree by Research postgraduate research projects.Desirable skills include: Experience in working with industry on research and educational projects.Demonstrated success in advancing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in a previous role.What we offer We offer a range of benefits to our employees to ensure you balance your commitments, stay healthy and work effectively.
