We have an exciting role available for an Account Director in the Brisbane Agency Sales Team to represent ARN’s portfolio of brands. You would be joining one of the industry’s most highly regarded sales teams, whose most recent accolades include Media i 2023 Queensland Sales Team of the Year, Media i 2023 Queensland Radio Sales Representative of the Year, and the Australian Commercial Radio Awards’ 2023 finalists for Best Station Sales Achievement. About The Role:
The core objective of this sales role is to maximise revenue opportunities to achieve monthly revenue targets. Your goal of retaining and growing clients plus capturing new business will be achieved by creating meaningful partnerships that deliver impactful audio solutions on both a proactive and reactive basis to your allocated portfolio of agency partners and clients. We offer all our salespersons a competitive salary with an attractive commission structure to earn additional income each month.
Your key responsibilities would include:
1. Represent the ARN portfolio to allocated Brisbane advertising agencies and national advertisers.
2. Have a solid understanding of the media market with a deep focus on ARN business, brand, and products – the ARN Audiosphere.
3. Generate new business opportunities with clients within allocated Brisbane agencies.
4. Attain sales budgets and provide accurate revenue forecasting - plan strategies and solutions to meet quarterly targets.
5. Deliver the highest quality of presentation standards, both written and verbal.
6. Create compelling sales pitches representing ARN’s brands.
7. Attend sales, business and training meetings and events when required.
8. Build strong, ongoing relationships with customers and internal personnel.
About You:
Ideally you would already be working within the media industry in a Sales role & can bring with you a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience. You love working at pace, are willing to lean in and learn, pride yourself on your attention to detail and love connecting with people and learning about your clients.
9. A minimum 5 years’ Media/Advertising Agency experience.
10. A solid professional sales background with proven achievement of performance or KPI related activity.
11. Exceptional communication skills with an ability to deal with people at all levels both internally and externally.
12. Be an inspirational team player capable of working within a fast paced and highly demanding environment.
13. Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
14. The ability to work as an autonomous salesperson in a highly competitive environment.
