Reporting to the COO, this role ensures compliance, strategic planning, and effective financial management. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while providing key financial insights to support decision-making. As a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, your ability to lead with empathy, resilience, and strategic focus will be essential in achieving organisational goals. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Inspire and guide a high-performing Finance team, fostering a collaborative and adaptable culture through change. Financial Planning & Reporting: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support informed decision-making. Provide timely insights to the Executive Team, Board, and Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee. Financial Management: Ensure strong financial controls, overseeing accounting, payroll, budgeting, and taxation. Board Engagement: Build trusted relationships with the Board and committees, delivering clear financial insights and recommendations. Audit & Compliance: Lead the annual audit, liaise with external auditors, and ensure statutory compliance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with senior leaders to enhance financial accountability and contribute to strategic planning. Procurement: Oversee procurement and contracts, ensuring compliance and maximising organisational value. The Successful Candidate: Qualifications: CPA or CA certified with a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, or a related field. Leadership: Experienced leader fostering collaboration, high performance, and a culture of trust and accountability. Senior Financial Management: 10+ years in senior finance roles, driving strategy, budgets, and compliance in regulated environments. Analytical: Strong problem-solving skills, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making. Operational: Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis, optimising financial processes.
