One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Strategic Service Designer to play a vital role in driving the design, development and implementation of a range of Strategic Design activities. You will also support the implementation of Human Centred evidence design for stakeholders. The role can be based in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with flexible working arrangements available. The successful Strategic Service Designer will be offered a contract until June 2025 with a possible extension options.
The successful Strategic Service Designer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Developing processes and training materials that align with industry best practices
* Transforming complex findings and outcomes into impactful formats
* Managing the design and delivery of Service Design artefacts including current and future state Journey Maps
* Leading workshop design and facilitation to support effective Information Gathering
The successful Strategic Service Designer will have experience in the following:
* Experience in Human Centred design methods with a focus on Service Design Strategy/Research
* Strong stakeholder engagement and Relationship Management experience
* Ability to manage and deliver contextual research and insights
* Tertiary qualifications in UX Design or related disciplines (desirable)
