Marketing & Communications Manager Location: Sydney Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 (experience dependent) My client, a global leader in the industrial machinery sector, is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to take ownership of their marketing function across Australia. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead marketing strategy, digital campaigns, content creation, event management, and communications — supporting the Sales Team while ensuring alignment with global brand objectives. The business operates across five continents, with over 4,000 professionals worldwide, providing advanced technology solutions to the furniture, joinery, construction, and timber-based industries. In Australia, the business runs major centres in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy & Brand Communication Develop and deliver strategic marketing plans aligned with corporate objectives Manage local marketing budgets and media planning Build strong relationships with trade press and media Create a range of content, including articles, case studies, and customer success stories Digital Marketing & Social Media Manage social media channels (LinkedIn and Instagram) and website content Plan and execute organic and paid social campaigns Analyse performance, engagement, and ROI; report back to the business Maintain dashboards to track and optimise marketing activities Oversee internal communications via the company platform (Interacta app) Content & Email Marketing Deliver email marketing campaigns, EDMs, and newsletters Ensure consistent, high-quality content in line with global brand guidelines Events & Trade Show Management Plan, promote, and execute events — in-person and digital Lead marketing efforts around trade shows to maximise visibility and lead generation Organise Tech Tours for customers, managing all logistics Customer & Dealer Engagement Enhance engagement at the Technology Centre, creating an interactive customer experience Support the dealer network with marketing tools and resources Strengthen relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders Ideal Background: Proven marketing and communications experience, ideally within B2B or technical/industrial sectors Strong digital marketing capability, including social media management and content creation Confident self-starter, capable of managing projects independently Excellent communication skills and a natural relationship-builder Highly organised, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities Next Steps: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to join a global business, make the role their own, and genuinely add value.
