arisen for a Legal Secretary to join our Government & Administrative Law team in our busy Melbourne office.The work primarily covers National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as well as workers' compensation, personal injury, employment law, and occupational health and safety.This role will see you mainly supporting a team of Lawyers, and two Partners, together with other Legal Secretaries.Your day to day responsibilities will be varied, but will include: Drafting correspondence and documents, briefs to Counsel, and briefs to medical experts.Electronic and hard copy filing and setting up sub-folders for electronic files Drafting correspondence and documents, briefs to Counsel, and briefs to medical experts.Telephone calls with clients, Courts/Tribunals, other law firms, and third parties (e.g.medical practices, medico-legal companies etc.)Monthly billing, including invoicing and preparation of bills.Previous experience with Aderant/Expert Billing will be highly regarded.About you To be successful in this role, you will be a Legal Secretary, or an experienced administrative assistant with a background in professional services.Your dedication to providing our
