About The Role The Deputy Director of Tolling will support the Director of Tolling and lead project management functions to ensure the successful delivery and establishment of STC's toll collection capabilities. This senior leadership position requires extensive expertise in project management, technology, governance, and business operations, focusing on achieving key milestones within scope, time, and budget. The Deputy Director will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to deliver capabilities, establish operations, and support strategic business objectives. Additionally, this role will provide leadership to the Tolling Collection Capability (TCC) team, stepping in for the Director as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project management of the Toll Collection Capability program to ensure timely delivery of objectives. Manage TCC PMO: Develop and manage the TCC Project Management Office (PMO), including governance, budgets, schedules, resources, and risks. Enhance Project Delivery: Ensure efficient project delivery through effective vendor relationships and stakeholder engagement. Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives that align STC's toll collection capabilities with operational and financial goals. Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments. Qualifications/Experience Project Management Proficiency: Strong skills in governance, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management. Leadership Expertise: Proven track record in leading complex technology-based projects in corporate or government settings. Educational Background: Tertiary qualifications in business, science/engineering, project management, or a related field are mandatory. Operational Focus: Demonstrated leadership in managing complex projects with an emphasis on operational efficiency and revenue generation. Experience: Minimum 10 years in project management and technology within transport-related projects. Desirables Tolling Technology Experience: Familiarity with road tolling technology and operations or large-scale transportation/mobility projects is highly regarded. Certification: Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable. Understanding Operating Models: Strong grasp of operating models (establishment and transformation), business operations, and stakeholder management in complex environments. Vendor Management Skills: Experience with vendor management and business process improvement.
