Primary objective Develop communication materials and contribute to communication activities for the Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program; particularly to support the engagement of NT Health’s new core clinical system. Context statement The Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program (CCSRP) is a major technology program that will transform the delivery of health care services for Territorians by delivering a Territory-wide single, integrated health electronic record system. Working closely with the Department of Health the CCSRP team comprises of public sector employees and contractors working together to deliver multiple streams of activity as the program is implemented. The work environment is dynamic, fast-paced and results driven with high expectations of superior service delivery. Key duties and responsibilities 1. Develop communications materials including web content, newsletters, presentations in line with communications plans to support engagement of stakeholders and change management in the Core Clinical Renewal Systems Program (CCSRP). 2. Apply contemporary communication and effective messaging methodologies to develop communications that are tailored and relevant to the intended audience. 3. Provide quality services and advice to Project Managers/Program Directors to collaborate on strategies, plans and actions required for effective communication and stakeholder engagement. 4. Establish and effectively manage professional relationships with a diverse range of internal and external key stakeholders. 5. Actively participate as a full member of the DPS division, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to support Projects and Programs. 6. Travel to various sites to deliver communication artefacts and merchandise as well as take photographs. Selection criteria Essential 1. High level written communication skills necessary for the formulation of a wide range of quality communication materials, and the ability to translate complex concepts to be understood by stakeholders and system end-users. 2. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of contemporary strategic marketing and communications trends, principles and methodologies including publishing, media, web publishing, and advertising. 3. Well-developed cross-cultural communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain productive relationships with a network of people from diverse backgrounds internally and externally. 4. Demonstrated ability to work with communications processes including correct use of logos, mandatory templates and protocols. 5. High level skills with Microsoft office software including PowerPoint, Excel and Word, and the ability to work with or quickly learn SharePoint, Jira and other IT tools. 6. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, effectively manage competing priorities and remain agile in a fast-paced working environment. 7. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, respectful and innovative. Desirable 1. Qualifications in Marketing, Journalism, or Communications. 2. Experience working in Health or Government and in a large-scale, multi-year project environment.
