A Global IT Consulting firm is currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics Supply Chain Specialist to service one of their large clients, in an initial 7 month contract with the view to extend.
This role is perfect for someone who is highly motivated and experienced in supply chain with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, this is an exciting opportunity to help clients optimize their supply chain operations and achieve business success. Your primary objective will be to help clients improve their supply chain operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Role and Responsibilities:
4. Work closely with clients to understand their supply chain management processes and identify areas for improvement
5. Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
6. Provide expertise in supply chain planning, inventory management, procurement, and logistics
7. Configure and customize the Dynamics 365 system to meet client requirements
8. Provide training and support to client teams on the Dynamics 365 system and supply chain best practices
9. Collaborate with other consultants and developers to ensure successful implementation of Dynamics 365 solutions
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest supply chain trends and technologies to provide clients with the most effective solutions
11. Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations
To be successful in this role you will have:
12. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field
13. At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on implementing technology solutions
14. At least 10 years' experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with a specialization in Supply Chain
15. Strong knowledge of supply chain management best practices and industry trends
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
18. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
