FOH / Wait Supervisor - Exciting Opportunity in Darwin's Premier Waterfront Location
About Us: Wharf One Food & Wine, located in the stunning Darwin Waterfront, offers an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and experienced Wait Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a FOH / Wait Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. You will assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing restaurant duties, maintaining high standards of production, productivity, and quality, while ensuring a superior customer service experience. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong hospitality background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for great customer service.
Your key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high level of productivity and service quality.
Engaging with customers to provide exceptional dining experiences.
Managing seating capacity and restaurant flow during busy periods.
Leading, motivating, and mentoring a large team of employees, ensuring they perform to the best of their abilities.
Assisting the manager with rosters and staff scheduling.
Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Handling operational issues and recommending appropriate solutions in real-time.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant supervisor experience in hospitality.
Proven experience in training, developing, and leading staff to achieve high performance.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining operational standards.
Availability to work shifts across a 7-day roster.
Wages:
Salary based on Restaurant Industry Award 2024 Standards. Full-Time position: Salary is based on a minimum of 38 hours per week, with holiday and personal leave accrued pro-rata. Salary will be determined by the level of experience.
