THE ROLE Working from our client's office in Brisbane, this position of Senior Electrical Engineer is crucial to the delivery of project packages and the development of the EI+C team.You will ensure the technical integrity of project deliverables and activities of this team, whilst also providing technical support and supervision. Your responsibilities will include, however not be limited to: Ensure tasks are fit for purpose and completed successfully, accurately and on time and on budget. Provide design assistance in the identification, selection, and procurement of equipment and components. Assist in the preparation of quotations/proposals; technical solutions; risk identification and mitigation. Participate in review of design before implementation to ensure quality, consistency and coordination with all aspects of the service. May act as Project Engineer as and when needed. Produce instrumentation and control system designs as required. ABOUT YOU Our client is looking for someone who has extensive technical, practical, and leadership experience in Mining, Utilities, Manufacturing, and Oil and Gas industries.You will value quality results and integrity, with a can-do approach.The following skills and attributes are also essential: Electrical Engineering Degree. Hold RPEQ / CPEng / TUV Machine Safety Certification. Project Management experience and exposed to PM fundamentals. EI+C Design experience. Strong communication skills. Proven experience in leading and supervising teams. Ability to travel to site as needed.
