About the Plastics and Reconstructive Unit
The Monash Health Plastic & Reconstructive surgery department is one of the biggest and busiest in the state, performing over 5000 procedures a year.
About The Role:
* You will be a fully qualified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon with a commitment to best practice plastic & reconstructive surgery within the public hospital system.
* You will be responsible for Patient assessment and management in outpatient environment.
* You will have extensive interaction with the other health professionals, especially nursing and allied health staff.
* You will provide leadership to the multi-disciplinary treating team.
* You will be committed to education and training of Junior Medical Staff
* Provide safe and high quality person centred care for patients under your care.
* Ensure timely and clear clinical communication including clinical handover with regards to patients under your care.
* In your clinical practice demonstrate commitment to quality and safety and Monash Health patient first initiative
* You will be required to participate in the on call roster.
About You
What you need:
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
* Fellowship of the RACS or equivalent
* Working with Children's Certificate
* Membership with RACS and ASOHNS
