We are seeking an experienced Regional Lead to oversee operations and lead a team of Senior and Clinical Lifestyle Assistants. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in disability services, and a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and mentor a team of Senior and Clinical Lifestyle Assistants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of allocated Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Individualised Living Options (ILO) services.
3. Ensure all services comply with NDIS quality and safeguarding standards while upholding Great Mates’ mission and values.
4. Work closely with individuals, families, and external stakeholders to develop and implement individual lifestyle plans that support independence and well-being.
5. Manage financial and administrative tasks, including budgets, payroll approvals, invoicing, and reporting.
6. Develop and implement staff rosters to ensure appropriate service coverage and continuity of care.
7. Conduct performance reviews, training sessions, and team meetings to support professional development.
8. Maintain accurate care documentation and compliance records, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
9. Identify and implement best-practice initiatives to improve service delivery and participant outcomes.
10. Ensure risk management procedures and WHS policies are adhered to across all operational areas.
Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
1. Minimum 12 months’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the disability, healthcare, or community services sector.
2. Proven experience in supporting individuals with complex needs, mental health conditions, and high-intensity supports.
3. Strong understanding of NDIS compliance, policies, and reporting requirements.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience in budget management, rostering, and operational efficiency.
6. Diploma of Disability, Community Services, or equivalent qualification.
7. Current First Aid Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening (Blue & Yellow Card).
8. Current unrestricted QLD driver’s licence.
