Job Title: On-Site Housekeeping & Property Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Busselton Family Holiday House (Geographe, WA)
Type: Permanent Part-Time (approx. 9 hours/week) | 3-month probationary period
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a part-time On-Site Housekeeping & Property Manager for a short-term letting holiday house in Busselton, Western Australia.
What We Offer:
* Well Above Award Pay Rates: Weekdays $35/hr | Saturdays $42.50/hr | Sundays $45/hr | Public Holidays $65/hr
* Approximately $15,500 annually (inclusive of super, based on FY24/5 estimated 90 changeovers/year and ~20% of those on weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
* Housekeeping and Changeovers:
o Complete guest changeovers between 10 AM–2 PM to a 5-star standard
o Clean all rooms, living areas, bathrooms, kitchen, and outdoor areas
o Maintain 4 sets of Sheridan linen inventory (laundrette fees reimbursed)
o Cyclical deep & spring cleaning tasks – Job checklists exist for all aspects
* Property Management:
o Restock household supplies (toiletries, cleaning items, batteries etc.)
o Ensure all appliances, lighting, and guest amenities (e.g., coffee, table tennis equipment) are in working order
o Perform light maintenance tasks such as sweeping patios and checking outdoor areas
o Manage smart locking system onsite (logs access through wifi), battery replacement, and WIFI connection
* Guest Readiness:
o Prepare the property for guest arrivals, ensuring cleanliness and comfort
o Proactively identify and address issues with the property
* Communication:
o Liaise with the owner, tradespeople, and a casual maintenance assistant as needed
o Provide photos and updates of any guest damage or issues
Skills and Experience:
* Strong attention to detail and high standards of presentation
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred
* Basic computer/phone skills for WhatsApp updates
* Work in a supportive and collaborative environment
* Contribution to a high-quality, family-friendly accommodation experience
