The Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who will take the reins of all areas within the Beresford Precinct. You will be the face of this iconic space and drive an exceptional experience for our guests. This rare opportunity will see you driving one of our biggest precincts. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Delivery of the venue budget, objectives, and deliverables;
2. Drive agreed financial focuses with the team, and cascade consistent messages and targets;
3. Deliver quality guest experience through carefully curated food, beverages, retail, operations, and ambiance;
4. Drive innovation in venue (group) direction and product development;
5. Exhibit and maintain an elite level of leadership across all areas of the business;
6. Drive cohesion and performance between the venue team and other business stakeholders to deliver results;
7. Support, develop and drive asset protection and risk mitigation strategies including but not limited to food safety, licensing and regulatory compliance;
8. Recruit, induct and retain key talent;
9. Partner effectively with key community stakeholders.
Who Are You
You will be a passionate and driven leader who can adapt to varied service styles, clientele, and offerings in one location while also being community focused. To be successful in this role you will:
1. Have a strong background in licensee and compliance;
2. Have previously worked within a similar role within a large scale or multi-site venue and understand complex environments;
3. A hospitality background with knowledge across Work Health & Safety, and Regulatory Compliance is highly advantageous;
4. Be a commercially astute people manager, with demonstrated experience in your field;
5. Have exceptional financial acumen;
6. Bring ideas and initiative to the table and drive growth in your venue;
7. Be truly passionate about leading and developing a team, and well connected to your industry.
