Base pay rangeA$110,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yr
The company is recognized as a market leader in the electrical supplies business and is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who is eager to take their career to the next level.
They design, manufacture and distribute an extensive range of over 28,000 product lines to the electrical industry engineered and tested to Australian standards.
They promote their products via a comprehensive national network of electrical wholesale organizations that service engineering construction, residential, commercial and infrastructure building industries.
The Role
The Account Manager role combines elements of farming and hunting.
You will seek out opportunities from existing relationships and connections, whilst also exploring possible business development options through the building of solid relationships, pitching the company and its innovations to all levels of industries.
This is a role for those that can use their commercial acumen and superior sales techniques to recognize the right opportunity and develop revenue streams through smart and engaging sales relationships.
They have a reputation of working consultatively with their customer base to deliver outstanding results.
This role relies heavily on you working in partnership with the customer and the project teams to deliver results.
The role is based in Brisbane but covers a sales territory that stretches from the NSW Northern Rivers up through to Bundaberg, although most of your daily focus is Greater Brisbane.
MUST BE a proven sales professional within the Electrical supplies marketMUST HAVE experience selling to buyers who are Wholesalers.MUST be based in Brisbane and have a strong network of industry relationships in the QLD marketMUST HAVE proven track record of building sustainable sales pipelines through clear sales strategy, market mapping and account management activitiesMUST HAVE experience selling to procurement decision makers via many channels.MUST have full residency and working rights in Australia & significant work experience within Australia.MUST be happy to travel for the job.Salary package is commensurate with experience (c$100-120k base + $20k car allowance + super + bonus)PLEASE NOTE
You must have Australian residency, the right to work in Australia and existing Australian Electrical market experience.
