JOB DESCRIPTION
Market Planning Analyst
BRP is currently seeking a talented analyst to contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the APAC region. Reporting directly to the Market Planning Manager, the Market Planning Analyst will be expected to leverage their strong analytics and business acumen to drive the business forward.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
1. Lead the short/mid-term monthly S&OP revision for EAPI and Japan region, consisting in building and maintaining sell-in/sell-out forecasts by looking at historical sales, latest trends, retail activities (promotions) while taking into account seasonality.
2. In charge of reflecting the latest forecasts into IBP to drive production adjustments and make sure main risks and opportunities are well understood by the Global planning team
3. Track, investigate and explain variances between forecast and actual results in order to look for continuous improvement
4. Manage production/stock allocation when supply cannot fully match the demand
5. Act as the guardian of the inventory available for the region and ensure the level of the stock on hand remains under control
6. Be the main point of contact for the EAPI and Japan team (commercial, sales support, marketing) for all matters related to units’ planning via monthly governance and ad-hoc requests with the ultimate goal to improve the visibility, smoothen the order-to-delivery process and support the growth
7. Support the elaboration of the unit ordering strategy for the EAPI and Japan region, consisting, but not limited to, defining rules/guidelines, managing the allocation of products, confirming orders and making sure internal/external stakeholders are well informed and have all the necessary information in due time
8. Create/update reports, summaries and presentations to explain strategies and ease the decision-making process
9. With the rest of the team, work closely with the project team in charge of the recent implementation of IBP and make sure our day-to-day reality is well understood for continuous improvements
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
10. Previous experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Planning or Demand Planning.
11. Relevant Bachelor or Master degree
12. Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
13. First experience with IBP is not mandatory but a strong plus
14. Well-rounded business acumen combined with high strategic thinking, problem solving and willingness for efficiency
15. Ability to challenge the status-quo with data driven insights and a mindset always looking for process improvements
16. Organized, accurate and results oriented
17. Ability to work and deliver in high stress environment
18. Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI is a strong plus
