About the role
The primary purpose of the Emergency Medical Education andTraining (EMET) Program Support Officer is to support the educationand training for the Hub and nominated training sites providing acomprehensive administrative and project support function to theEMET program.
Based predominantly within the fast-paced Royal AdelaideHospital Emergency Department, this newly created role requiresdaily liaison and collaboration with medical clinicians andadministrative personnel.
Key responsibilities of the Project Support Officer include:
4. Coordinate and support the lead Fellow of Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) to deliver EMET funded training to the EMET Hub and training sites within the Hub region.
5. Assist trainees and their supervisors enrolled in Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM)'s Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC) and Emergency Medicine Diploma (EMD) Programs and International Medical Graduates (IMGs) participating in ACEM's educational activities.
6. Contribute to administrative functioning including organisation and support to training days, assistance in communication strategies and the preparation of promotional material.
7. The role will be responsible for discrete minor projects and may also contribute assistance to more complex projects. This position operates with autonomy and requires excellent communication and organisational skills, initiative and a proactive attitude to deliver a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:
13. Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
14. Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
