Salary Range - 60k - 80k (negotiated based on experience)
About the role
To schedule reinforcing products for a range of concrete structures in commercial and civil construction projects in accordance with the relevant standards. The Scheduler must also effectively control the project requirements through accurate forward planning and scheduling of production and delivery to maximize productivity/profitability.
Relevant Experience
* Demonstrated achievement in problem solving and project completion.
* High level of administration skills.
* Ability to use Auto Cad.
* Experience in the commercial, residential and civil markets.
* Experience in a customer facing role.
* Project management.
* Intermediate level Microsoft office proficiency.
Essential Duties
* Read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
* Schedule reinforcing products into operating system.
* Accurately plan and schedule to the project/job requirements.
* Establish and continually update project drawings, files and diary.
* Deal with several projects simultaneously.
* Provide the Planning Department, detailed forward tonnage one month ahead of production on a continual basis.
* Schedule to the planned tonnage at least two weeks ahead of production and forward those schedules to replace the planned tonnage.
* Advise direct manager if forecasted tonnes differ to the original estimate and update the forecast system appropriately.
* Forward schedule specialised products which require longer production lead times.
* Use Auto Cad for basic shapes.
* Assist Sales Department with tender preparation and quotations.
* Reasonable overtime as directed by manager and/or Management Team.
Qualifications
* Tertiary Qualification - Civil Engineering or relating
* Year 12 or equivalent
* Experience working as a scheduler
* MUST have full Australian working rights.
