ABOUT THE ROLE Wyer & Co. is expanding and we're seeking expressions of interest from Senior Landscape Architects or Designers looking to join our Sydney studio.This is a unique and rare position, which also includes the responsibility of leading a dedicated team including mentorship, scheduling and development of the team. A standout with your technical and practical expertise you are uncompromising in your approach, passion, and commitment to delivering an exceptional result.Equally, you will have experience leading design projects at a similar level and providing leadership and guidance to team members of varied experience levels. ABOUT YOU 6+ years post-graduate experience at a similar level / practice or studio is a must, with residential experience an advantage Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture / Design Proficiency in Vectorworks (preferred) or AutoCad High level of working knowledge of BCA, Standards & NSW planning framework Must have extensive Australian plant knowledge and passion for gardens Experience managing end-to-end landscape design projects for the high-end residential market Display strong skills in design and documentation at all stages from concept through completion, including construction phases Experience working closely with high-end clients Experience in leading, mentoring and managing a team Ability to recognise and know when to prioritise (and pause) projects / tasks to maximise efficiency, time, profitability and the client's investment and team output Excellent communication, organisational, project management and problem solving skills Have a natural ability and skillset to successfully interpret a project brief and deliver a design that is well suited to the site climatic conditions and appropriate to the architecture of the building Team player who is willing to collaborate, listen, learn and fit in with the culture of the Wyer & Co team.Wyer & Co prides itself on a Culture which is driven by the best design result for the client and team, not egos.
