Randstad is partnering with SA Water to find a passionate and skilled Senior Engineer Hydraulic to provide technical expertise and guidance.
In this role, you will support the Engineering teams for hydraulic designs, investigations, and collaborate with business partners to adopt suitable new technologies.
As an experienced engineer, you will influence and contribute expertise across the corporation, working with other teams on-site to investigate, design, and resolve problems.
You will maintain high engineering proficiency, delivering exceptional advice and technical auditing services for SA Water's capital projects.

Your new role: Provide expert support in Hydraulic engineering matters across the corporation.
Offer technical guidance in Safety in Design (SiD) matters.
Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to enhance the teams' capabilities.
Identify and evaluate new technologies, driving innovation and best practice improvements in Hydraulic engineering standards and practices.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication with engineering teams, project managers, vendors, and contractors.
Determine suitability of new and emerging technology to benefit the corporation.
Support the Engineering design/studies team for mechanical investigation.
Travel to sites to assess engineering situations frequently.
To be successful in this role, you will need: Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Postgraduate qualifications in hydraulics are desirable.
Sound knowledge of Hydraulic engineering procedures and practices.
Experience in the provision of investigation, concept, and detailed design of mechanical infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience in executing complex and critical engineering investigations.
Knowledge to develop project-specific hydraulic specifications.
Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia (EA) or in the process of obtaining chartership with EA is desirable.
A valid driver's licence is required.
