Competitive hourly rate with allowances + benefits Due to the growing need for cloud services, digital transformation initiatives, and a commitment to sustainability, our NSW team is expanding and is in search of a seasoned Data Centre Supervisor for a full-time, permanent role. In your role as a leader of an onsite team, you will oversee various projects, inspire the site workforce, and promote a culture of learning by mentoring technicians and apprentices. You'll ensure clear communication and provide effective work instructions with a drive to emphasise our company values. Additionally, you will play a key role in project planning and execution, which includes developing and managing schedules, overseeing material control, and assisting in labour forecasting. Prioritising safety, you will ensure adherence to all WHS and Quality Assurance standards while making certain that technicians and apprentices clearly understand their roles in delivering the highest level of service. You will also spearhead customer communication and be their first point of call for the company. About You You will: Have strong leadership skills, with a preference for those with previous experience as a Supervisor or Leading Hand in a data centre environment. Hold a current ACMA cabling licence and/or electrical licence with endorsements in structured and fibre optics, as well your White Card. Bring expertise in technical telecommunications installations, specialising in cabling, looming, patching, testing and commissioning. Be confident in working within a live Data Centre Environment with a focus on adhering to well defined procedures and HSEQ practices. Have experience in the installation of network equipment, an understanding of network topology and the skills to complete high end data centre telecommunication fibre optic cabling installations. Be willing to be a part of an on-call roster. Already hold or be eligible to obtain your baseline/NV1 security clearance.
