This team is accountable for managing incidents, remediation, regulatory change, risk management, and assurance activities.This newly created role will perform risk management and assurance activities per Aware's Risk Management Framework: such as controls testing, obligation management, and risk assessments.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing incidents as specified in Aware's Incident and Breach Management Policy.
Your broad experience and business knowledge will allow you to take a holistic approach to risk and compliance management by monitoring and testing our obligations, controls, and risks.How do you exceed our expectations? The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple;Bring a solid understanding of the regulatory landscape and applicable legislative instruments to superannuation and managed investment schemes;Experience working in financial services, ideally in superannuation in a trustee office, member administration, or advice practice;Sound understanding of risk management frameworks and practices including GRC systems to adequately manage incidents, remediation plans, controls, obligations, and risks;Growth and inquisitive mindset, open to learning new topics and self-drive to analyse, investigate, and manage issues to resolution;Excellent written and verbal reasoning skills, with concise and clear messaging with a high degree of attention to detail;The ability to develop strong relationships and build trust and rapport with internal senior stakeholders; andAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with the target audience and stakeholders.Employee ExperienceWe understand that not everyone works in the same ways.
