Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position forms part of a small team that is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of the feedlot, farm infrastructure and plant.Your key responsibilities include:Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient preventative and scheduled maintenanceGeneral welding and fabrication dutiesEngaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments and appliancesEnsuring that all work is carried out to meet the Company safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulationsSupporting other projects that may ariseAbout YouMinimum 2 years post-trade experiencePrevious welding and fabrication experience preferredExperience welding and cutting with S/S Tig, Mig, Stick, Oxy advantageousAbility to work autonomously and in a teamExperience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ability to identify faults with the ability to troubleshoot and rectify problemsEffective and efficient fault finding and diagnostic skillsThorough understanding of maintenance work management practicesUnderstanding of work planning and scheduling proceduresWell-developed communication and interpersonal skillsThorough understanding and knowledge of WHS regulations/proceduresConfined Space and BA Competence highly desiredInterested?
