Business Analyst - HR & Payroll System Implementation About the Opportunity This role offers a unique chance to work with a forward-thinking organization, backed by a consulting partner, to define and deliver a critical HR/ Payroll system upgrade. With a workforce of 100 plus permanent staff and a growing casual pool, you'll make a meaningful impact on the organisations operational efficiency and employee experience. Our client, a growing organisation is in the process of upgrading their HR and payroll systems, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead the charge in defining and implementing a modern, integrated HR/payroll solution. This is a 12-month contract role paying up to $700 per day plus super, ideal for a candidate who thrives on stakeholder engagement, process improvement, process mapping and delivering impactful outcomes. The position is full time with a strong preference for onsite collaboration. Key Responsibilities Requirements Analysis: Work with HR, payroll, and IT teams to gather and document business needs for a combined HR/payroll System. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams, including HR, payroll, and casual workforce stakeholders, to ensure alignment of system requirements with operational goals. Market Research: Conduct a market scan to evaluate potential systems and vendors that meet the business requirements. Governance & Process Design: Assist in establishing governance structures and streamlined processes for project delivery. RFI & Tender Preparation: Support the development of RFI documents and assist in the tender process for vendor selection. Project Implementation: Contribute to go-live planning and execution, including process documentation and user training, targeting a Q3 launch. About You Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in HR/ Payroll system implementation projects. Strong ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders. Familiarity with payroll systems (experience with Micropay/Definitiv is advantageous). Skilled in developing business requirements, conducting market research, and preparing tender documentation.
