About the Company:
Our client is a global leader in mineral processing, with over 170 assets around the world. As part of their expansion, they are seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee the construction of a new plant in Bathurst, NSW.
This project is anticipated to last between 18 to 24 months.
Role responsibilities:
* Manage and instruct construction site workers, setting schedules and monitoring performance.
* Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure compliance and safety.
* Identify and manage potential safety hazards promptly.
* Address site issues and delays in a timely manner.
* Ensure adherence to safety standards and the National Construction Code (NCC).
* Collaborate with the project manager and engineers to align activities with the project plan.
* Verify that work techniques are safe and effective.
* Manage orders and deliveries of building materials.
* Complete site reports and maintain accurate records.
* Attend construction site management meetings.
* Contribute to a positive workplace culture aligned with core values.
* Take immediate action to control and report Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality risks.
* Participate in cross-functional duties as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum Diploma in Building and Construction.
* At least 3 years of experience in construction site supervision.
* Knowledge of building and construction methods.
* Familiarity with construction regulations and health and safety legislation.
* Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans.
* Experience in quality control.
* Current Construction White Card.
* First Aid & CPR certificates.
* Valid Australian driver's license.
