An exciting opportunity awaits for a dynamic and self-driven Event Manager who can manage and deliver innovative, high-quality face to face, hybrid and digital events on a permanent ongoing basis. As part of our state-based team in Adelaide, the Events Manager will be working with a nationally diverse Programming team in delivering end to end events logistics and managing ad hoc day to day office operations.
To be successful in this role, you must love collaboration and have a proven track record in successful implementation of events across a variety of formats (face to face, hybrid, digital). Your ability to build relationships and engage with Senior Executives and key stakeholders will be critical. Reporting to the Associate Director, Content Programming, your day-to-day activities will include:
* Supporting and administering face to face and digital event planning, marketing and pre, during and post event delivery (i.e. speaker liaison, venue booking, AV, supplier coordination, onsite set up and registration, on the day staff supervision, livestream tech rehearsals etc.).
* Building, publishing and marketing events as per programming and marketing deadlines using the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and CMS.
* Supporting sponsor relationships by managing deliverables according to contract arrangements for events.
* Participating in virtual roundtables and providing support to speaker, host and attendees.
* Preparing event materials, and administration including event budgets and reporting.
* Providing daily customer service contact and response to enquiries around events as well as wider CEDA activities, including regularly managing the events inbox as part of an all-team schedule.
* Ad hoc office management activities to deliver effective daily operation (i.e. ordering /receiving office provisions, WHS requirements and engagement with building management and external suppliers).
