Superannuation Administrator

Mercer is seeking candidates for Superannuation Administrator to work within their Client and Member Services team based in the Wollongong office on a permanent, full-time basis.
What can you expect?
You will maintain member/employer/adviser account details and process a range of superannuation administration functions for members/employers and advisers of various superannuation schemes administered by Mercer, in accordance with legislation, fund rules and agreed service standards. You will ensure responsive, accurate and timely information is provided to members/employers/advisers regarding superannuation accounts.

We will count on you to:
* Process member/employer or adviser transactions across multiple functions either manually, electronically or SuperStream.
* Accurately maintain member/employer/adviser account details within Mercers current operating systems in accordance with specific scheme legislation, fund rules and Mercer’s business processes.
* Conduct thorough investigation to resolve exceptions and gather information to assist with the management of escalations, incidents and complaints in a timely manner.
* Initiate and act as a point of contact with both internal and external stakeholders to verify/confirm data provided and follow-up information as required.
* Cooperate and communicate across teams to improve outcomes for internal/external stakeholders.
* Maintain records systems to ensure the accurate, timely and safe storage of information.
* Prepare written correspondence that is well-structured and easy to follow.
We would like you to have:
* Experience working in administration
* Preferred knowledge and understanding of superannuation
* Sound problem solving skills and initiative
* Ability to manage own workload within high volume environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* High attention to detail
