Job Description
This role will provide on-site support to the Project Manager and the site teams to assist in the achievement of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Run Prestarts/Toolbox
2. Generate and distribute daily works plan
3. Maintain short term program
4. Coordinate daily VMP
5. Liaise with supply chain
6. Arrange resources to deliver plan (ie book trucks, subcontractors etc)
7. Inductions of Personnel/Plant/Equipment - Boral/SWMS etc
8. Provide site information to the QMR
9. Organise plant/vehicle inspections
Key Requirements
1. Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
2. Experience working on asphalt projects
3. Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite
4. Ability to produce SWMS.
5. Ability to formulate and prepare minor contractual claims and variations.
6. Extensive experience working as a Project Engineer on asphalt projects in Australia
7. Working knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards, and industry codes
This role is a 6 month contract role based in Nowra full time on site (5 days/week) with no working from home. Candidates need to have experience working on asphalt projects and MUST have Australian experience to be considered.
