The Group has recently expanded to New Zealand and the USA.We Offer:Initial 12-month contracts with the possibility of extensionAn immediate startA respected organisation with stability and securitySupport and guidance from experienced managersA positive and rewarding team cultureFuture career progression where great work is recognised and rewardedDiscounts on technology, cars, fashion and leisureUp to date technology and a modern office environmentKey Duties & Responsibilities:Take ownership of insurance jobs from commencement to completionMonitor quality audit reports & ensure items are actioned accordinglyEngage, coordinate & manage trades during the restoration process for buildings damaged by insurable eventsCommunicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobsLiaise between clients & insurance companiesCoordinate access to properties with insured partiesAttend & contribute to meetingsComplete monthly budget reporting on all projectsDispute / issue resolution, as requiredEnsure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from Building Surveyor & relevant documentation is signed offEnsure purchase order processes are followedReview monthly job cost reportsEnsure all company OH&S policies are followed at all timesKey Selection Criteria:Strong background in construction or supervising construction projectsRelevant building trade qualification, preferably in carpentryExcellent communication & customer service skillsStrong computer skillsRelationship building skillsAbility to delegate and manage multiple projects and completing prioritiesAbility to be empathetic to the needs of the clients and customersGood work ethic and positive attitudeUnderstanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations and current market rates/tradesCurrent motor vehicle licenceMust have a QBCCPlease note: The successful candidate must have the right to work in Australia and be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and criminal background check where required.Join the Johns Lyng Group & be part of the Flood Recovery team assisting local communities | Hervey Bay based | Positive & rewarding team culture
