In this role, you'll focus on growing and developing our pool of authorised carers through carer recruitment activities, assessments, and the organisation of training programs to ensure carers can provide therapeutic parenting to children and young people.You'll work closely with Foster and Kinship Carers alongside the Permanency Support Program (PSP) Foster and Kinship Care Team to support high-quality care arrangements for children and young people.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute community engagement strategies and partnerships for carer recruitment.Participate in foster and kinship carer assessment interviews and activities.Assist in organising and attending carer events, including training sessions.Desirable: previous experience using Step by Step model.Work collaboratively in a team environment.What We're Looking For:A Diploma in Community Services, Human Services, Social Work, Welfare, or equivalent.Experience working with children, young people, their families, and carers.Experience in cultural strengths-based practice with Aboriginal people, families, and communities.If this sounds like you, your journey with us begins here.
