About the role:
Service Delivery Transformation Command (SDTC) is a specialist area within Victoria Police. The command works across the organisation to design, develop and implement transformational change to enhance the Victoria Police service delivery model. This is achieved by:
1. Reviewing current organisational systems and processes.
2. Identifying emerging and future business, operational and human resource demands.
3. Creating and implementing more flexible, evidence-based systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
4. Optimising the use of information, diverse expertise, and technology.
5. Partnering with a range of key stakeholders to deliver sustainable outcomes.
6. Integrating effectively with the wider service sector; and
7. Using project management processes to maintain strong governance oversight.
SDTC is seeking an organised and efficient person for the position of Project Administrator. This role provides a range of project activities and administrative support services across multiple projects and teams within SDTC. This is a full-time opportunity for a fixed term period available now to Friday 31May 2025 inclusive.
As part of a team responsible for supporting the implementation of a major transformational program of work, the successful applicant will work both independently and with other employees. Using strong project support and communication skills, the successful applicant will effectively balance competing demands with minimal supervision to provide project support across the Command. Tasks include research, producing project reports, preparing agendas, minutes, presentations, research papers and other tasks as required. The appointed applicant will contribute to the ongoing monitoring of project outcomes.
This position requires experience in providing high-quality administrative support services with a demonstrated record of strong commitment and achievement in meeting customer needs.

8. Coordinating confidential project activities.
9. Researching a broad range of issues, as required.
10. Managing and maintaining office systems, including processes and systems.
11. Maintaining accurate records in line with organisational governance structures.
12. Prioritising competing work demands to meet strict timelines.
13. Assisting the project teams with project support and associated outputs if and as required.
14. Providing project support across the Command.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
15. Experience providing high quality administrative support.
16. Experience in managing office systems, including implementing changes to improve efficiency.
17. Understanding of project methodologies and experience participating in project activities.
18. Well-developed research skills.
19. Demonstrated understanding of customer service.
20. Well-developed communication skills (written and oral).
21. Well-developed time management skills.
22. Strong integrity and discretion.
Requirements and relevant information:
23. One (1) x Full-time, fixed-term position is available.
24. The position is located at the Victoria Police Centre. 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
