The role is client facing.You will be a pro-active individual, who is seeking to broaden your skills, gain experience and is motivated to assist clients by understanding their situation and deliver a customised service.The ideal candidate would have the following attributes: -• Be degree qualified in accounting• Be either CPA/CA qualified or working towards these qualifications;• Have at least 4 plus years' experience in a public practice in Australia as a Senior Accountant.• Possess excellent writing and communication skills in English• Be a professional that takes pride in their work, takes accountability and manages "red flags" accordingly• Ability to work with minimal supervision with a proven ability to manage your own workflows and lodgments;• Be a fast-learner who can work on a variety of accounting software systems including (Xero and BGL software)You will liaise with the Principal that will provide ongoing mentoring, training and support in your role.The job responsibilities will include: -• Preparation of IAS/BAS returns;• Preparation of income tax returns and financial accounts for HNW clients, companies, trusts, Self-managed superannuation funds and sole-traders;• Liaising with third party stakeholders and agencies such as ATO and ASIC• Providing assistance in researching a range of taxation matters such as income tax, capital gains tax, GST, international tax and state-based taxes.Salary range of ($90,000 to $120,000) will be offer based upon skills and experience.
