This is an open Expression of Interest for a Casual Academic role within the Master of Commerce Core Units of Study. Depending on the individual role to be filled, activities may involve teaching-related duties such as presenting classes (depending on qualifications and unit of study, this could include lectures, tutorials or workshops), providing support to lectures/workshops, delivering tutorials, marking and academic administration where required.
Casual rates for academic teaching duties will be commensurate with the role being undertaken. Pay rates can be found within the University of Sydney Enterprise Agreement and will be applied, where relevant.
In order to meet TEQSA requirements, applicants must possess a qualification one level higher than the level they are applying for or possess equivalent professional experience.

Location: University of Sydney, Camperdown/Darlington Campus
Salary: Casual rates for academic teaching duties include both the presentation or delivery time and the associated working time (including preparation, reasonably contemporaneous marking, and student consultation). Further information can be found in The University of Sydney Enterprise Agreement 2023-2026.
Responsibilities:
Presenting lectures and tutorials.
Conducting practical classes or workshops.
Marking assignments and exams.
Providing academic support and guidance to students.
Facilitating group discussions and activities to enhance learning.
Collaborating with the course coordinator to ensure the smooth delivery of the course.
Requirements:
A completed postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of creative and analytical course content.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
