The Role:
THS Statewide Primary Health Pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacist who is passionate about developing services and improving patient health outcomes. This position will focus on service development and delivery for contracted THS beds in rural communities in southern Tasmania, whilst being an integral member of and providing support to our small statewide team. The team provides services remotely, along with visits to sites, and works closely with the broader multidisciplinary team. The team is located in Launceston however applicants may be able to work from Hobart.
The Specialist Pharmacist - Primary Health Medication Systems will:
1. Undertake and provide pharmacy services in the specialist setting of Primary Health.
2. Provide specialist advice and knowledge regarding medication supply systems in a Primary Health setting.
3. Review medication management at various Primary Health facilities to ensure quality and cost-effective use of medications.
4. Act as a resource person in the field of Primary Health pharmacy and provide supervision and support to other staff as appropriate.

Permanent, part time, day worker position working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible
5. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $103,608 - $119,430 per annum (pro rata) + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
6. Relocation and commencement support available up to $15,000 for approved appointees.
7. Opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
8. Please note that access to salaries beyond $111,964 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
9. Salary range is in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
10. Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or completion of an overseas qualification eligible for skills assessment through the Australian Pharmacy Council.
11. Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
