The Opportunity:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Integrations & Automation Lead to join our IT Platforms - Integrations & Automation team, on a permanent basis in Brisbane.
Our IT Platforms - Integrations & Automation team provides integrations solution development, RPA process automation, and API management services to Ashurst. The team is based mainly in Brisbane, Australia and Glasgow, UK.
To enable Ashurst's 2027 strategy, the Platforms team, IT and the wider business services functions are embarking on an ambitious programme of transformation, of which integration and automation is a key enabler.
The Global Integrations & Automation Lead is a pivotal role within Ashurst's IT department, responsible for overseeing the strategy, development and management of the integrations and automation of Ashurst's systems and processes across the organisation. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic planning and leadership skills to ensure integration and automation supports our global operations, our future vision and adapts to the evolving technological landscape.
This role is complex and requires a dynamic individual who can navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing technology landscape while driving operational excellence and strategic growth.
The Global Integrations & Automation Lead will manage a team of integration specialists and automation engineers to implement and maintain integration solutions that support the company's global operations, client offering and strategic direction.

About You:
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in System integration, automation or related roles with a proven track record of successful service delivery and/or Integration & Automation transformation in a large global organisation.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Deep understanding of current and emerging Integrations platforms, Automations tools and technologies and how they can be applied to drive business value.
* Certifications in relevant areas such as SecDevOps, Software Lifecycle Management, Agile methodologies and/or IT service management are advantageous.
